) The public is invited to share their thoughts on the draft Village 1 Plan at an Open House, Tuesday, July 20.
Hosted by the Surprise Community and Economic Development Department the open house is scheduled from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., at the Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Avenue.
The Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department is gearing up for another season of Fall sports with Co-ed Youth Flag Football and Youth Soccer which will begin in late August. Boys and girls ages 5-12 years old are encouraged to learn the skills of the sport and have fun!
Resident Registration is going on now with July 24, being a Special Saturday registration for Surprise residents at the Community and Recreation Services Office from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Late and Non-Resident Registration will be held July 26 – 29. Registration is also available online at www.surpriseaz.gov/recreation. Fee is $45 for Residents, $55 for Late Residents and $65 for Non-Residents.

After five years the Bell Road Reconstruction is nearly complete!
Using $2.93 million in federal stimulus money, contractors reconstructed the three eastbound lanes of Bell from the Loop 303 to Parkview Place. East and westbound Bell from just west of the 303 to the Beardsley Canal was rehabilitated.
