The Surprise City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, May 20, at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza. 

 The Surprise Senior Center has tickets available for their bus trip Wednesday, June 23, to the Arizona Broadway Theatre to see the lively stage production of “Footloose.”  Tickets are $55 for Surprise residents and $58 for non-residents, and include the transportation, full course luncheon and matinee show.

 The City of Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department is recruiting volunteer van drivers to pick up and drop off participants attending Senior Center Programs.  

 

Drivers are needed Monday – Friday for four or six hour shifts during the day once or twice per week.   Training, t-shirt and lunch will be provided. Potential volunteers must pass a background check and a clean Arizona Drivers License.  CDL is not required.  The center is located at 15832 N. Hollyhock Street.
