Surprise Council & Vice Mayor recognized as “Friends to the Taxpayer”
The Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity Foundation recognized the entire Surprise City Council as “Friends of the Taxpayer,” and Surprise Vice Mayor Joe Johnson was one of four elected officials in the state to be named a “Hero of the Taxpayer,” in their newly-released Local Government Scorecard for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
