Have there been any open meetings held in regards to what we are going to do with the old city hall?

Bob:
There have been no public meetings on this issue yet. City staff received four proposals and interviewed three firms. The fourth firm only wanted to provide real estate brokerage services (i.e. act as Agent to lease the property). The other three are high tech/biotech type firms. We have narrowed the responses to one firm and are trying to determine if we can negotiate a deal that makes practical and economic sense. I would expect to have a staff recommendation in the next 30 days. At that time we will ask the Mayor and Council to either reject all the proposals or consider a deal. All the deal points will be made public if a deal is considered by the elected officials.
