Johnson named Surprise Vice-Mayor
SURPRISE, AZ (Jan. 9, 2009) District 5 Councilman Joe Johnson has been selected by the Surprise City Council to serve a one-year term as Vice Mayor.
.Because Mayor Lyn Truitt did not declare a call to the public, as reguired by law, I do not believe Johnson is legally Vice-Mayor.
I posted a comment on newszap.com about this, not to stir the Pot but to try to get the Citizen’s of Surprise involved.
I can’t be carrying the ball myself all the time.
If the City of Surprise erred, no big deal, all they have to do is hold another meeting and act or ratify this issue.
