Sink Hole
SURPRISE, AZ (Sept. 3, 2008) Road crews have repaired a sinkhole, that was discovered Wednesday morning, on eastbound Bell Road at Grand Avenue. As a result the left and center lanes of eastbound Bell have reopened to traffic for the afternoon commute.
The right lane, which was reopened during the emergency sinkhole repair work, has been closed to traffic once again, as the Bell Road Reconstruction work continues, on eastbound Bell from Litchfield to Grand.
REMINDER: All three lanes of eastbound Bell from Litchfield to Grand will be closed from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. tonight, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as part of the ongoing Bell Road Reconstruction Project. All three lanes are expected to be reopened by morning commute on Monday, September 8.
