Question does any1 know why these two city owned fields are not used for baseball/softball games. I called over to the park and rec. dept. last week and it seemed like I got the run around about the issue. Bottom line was theses fields are only used for practice.I think these fields are the best Surprise has to offer not only for the players but for the attendance that comes and watches the games. The “practice only” seems like that city wants the fields to be private city fields only for Marley Park.
I was told that the city signed some kind of contract with Marley Park about those fields. I have not dugg any deeper on that issue maybe some1 with more time can find out about that.

The above was the reason that I asked questions, but apparently I will not receive a straight answer from the City of Surprise.
