Surprise is Seeking Summer Dive Team Coach
The Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department is currently seeking Dive Coaches to instruct the Surprise Dive Team for the 2008 season. This program teaches children ages 8-17 to dive safely, while having fun.
Interested applicants must be available from the beginning of May through the end of July and must be present for all practices and meets. Dive practices will be held weekday mornings and meets are held weekly on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings. Candidates should be mature, responsible, detail-orientated and must have diving experience.
Dive Team Tryouts for new divers will be held Saturday, May 3 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. All participants must possess level 3 skills and be comfortable in deep water.
