Surprise Farms Park, an eyesore for nearby residents, finally could get some green.

At Thursday’s Surprise City Council meeting, city staff will propose adjusting design plans for the park to expedite landscaping of the entire 56 acres in the heart of the Surprise Farms development.

Today, residents consider the vacant park a nuisance and a dust bowl. A vocal group of neighborhood residents has lobbied hard for the lush park that was promised, and wants it as soon as possible.
